Baby Bump Update

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

We were lucky enough to get an advance preview of the Perot Museum this weekend through friends. Sawyer loved it and hasn't stopped talking about it. His favorite things were the frog statues outside which glow at night and a race track where he raced a cheetah. After leaving the museum he started exaggerating his cheetah race quite a bit and saying that he won the race.

We are really lucky to have this museum here and are planning on joining and visiting often.

Dinosaur Valley Camping Trip

We had a great time camping with friends, old and new, in Dinosaur Valley.  It's our last camping trip of 2012.  Sawyer had a great time and was asking to go back on the drive home. 

12 Weeks

We're very happy to announce that we are 12 weeks pregnant. 

We've been waiting for this for a very long time and we're incredibly excited. 

I started showing very early with this pregnancy.  It's a symptom of a medication I've been on and I hear it's very typical of second pregnancies. 

Sawyer has been wondering if he's pregnant too. 

But he's really incredibly excited.  He was especially excited when we told him the baby would eventually share his room.  We told him that if the baby cried during the night he could tell it to "shhh."  He's asked us to repeat this several times.  I think he's very ready to finally tell someone else what to do.
