Yesterday was National Neighborhood Night Out. Winnetka Heights had a party and Sawyer had his first experience with a pinata. He didn't do much damage. His first few hits were pretty good... then he resorted to repeatedly tapping the pinata. I think he was trying to annoy it so much it'd eventually break. Finally, one of the bigger kids broke the pinata and Sawyer was able to grab some candy. Chris accidentally left the candy at the party but Sawyer did eat a sucker or two before we went home.

How strange- we had National Night Out in our neighborhood on August 2. How can it be national if they are on different days? They should call it Regional Night Out. Cute pics of Sawyer!
